COVID 19 – Coronavirus News & Updates

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

as of Friday, October 2, 2020

Greetings Church Family,

Hello Church Family,

Thank you to all who joined us for our first Volunteers and Leaders Virtual meeting.  It was a joy to see you!

We recently heard someone say “the church is closed.”   Please remember the church is not a building, but a people, and when we gather in any place, Jesus is present with us.  Yes, as a result of the COVID pandemic we are not gathering in the same ways but have/will continue to reimagine ministry!  The safety of everyone is of the greatest importance.

We invite you to join us for our weekly streaming services and online Bible studies, technology-based ministry gatherings, feeding the hungry, and for all the ways SJC continues to be the church (in and out of the building).  Please know, we miss our in-person gatherings and this will fuel our motivation to find ways we can safely gather in-person.

Please stay connected.  One of the ways to stay connected with us is by subscribing to our e-newsletter.  We send the newsletter each week with important updates so remember to check your email often.  Do you want to receive the newsletter or do you need to update your email, cell, or home phone numbers?    No problem, email centraloffice@sjbcfamily.com

God bless you and keep a good spirit!

The St. John Church Leadership is in communication with our local health officials, governmental authorities, and observing best practices regarding public health and COVID-19. As it currently stands, we will hold our regularly scheduled worship services and will continue to monitor this situation.
